I'm a postdoctoral researcher in psychology. I study recovery from trauma and how to best support trauma survivors. I also see a (very) small number of patients for therapy, and am mostly focused on treating PTSD using short-term, evidence-based treatments.
I seriously considered becoming a tattoo artist instead of going to grad school
“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.” -Anaïs Nin
