Tyler began pole dancing in 2015 and was hooked very quickly. After about a year of taking every available class, he went through the certification program to become an instructor. Tyler brings his background in engineering and physics to the table to better explain the principles behind various pole moves and uses his keen eye for detail to better prepare his students for competitions.
When did you start pole dancing
Favorite Style of dance
Contemporary and weird most of the time but I really dig flowy stuff
None. Pole dance is the first kind of dance I have ever gotten into
Technical with a focus on nemesis moves and conditioning.
Favorite Pole Move
Favorite thing about teaching
I enjoy that moment when a move a student has been working on for ages just clicks. The joy when everything just falls into place.
Favorite TV Show
The Name of the Wind
So many. Cosplay, making prop replicas, physics problems, knitting, crochet, general crafting, gaming. That might be all of them.
Favorite Place to Travel
Japan. Been there on business a number of times. Still need to do a pleasure trip
I am a huge enabler. I like going shopping with people and convincing them to buy all the things they are on the fence about. It is a blessing and a curse.
